Todor Pandev graduated from the Pedagogic School in Kazanlak and specialised in Odessa. Upon his return he was appointed teacher in Yambol and Stara Zagora (in 1934). He was fired due to political reasons and deprived of his rights as a teacher. Concurrently, he founded in Stara Zagora the children’s choir Rodni zvutzi (Native Sounds), with which he was active in music popularisation. He also published in the magazine Music Review in Stara Zagora. He was member of the board of trustees of the Music Society in the town.

Works

He wrote a number of children’s songs, as well as music textbooks intended for primary school education.
