Ivelin Dimitrov (b.1931, in Silistra) graduated from the “Pancho Vladigerov” State Academy of Music in 1952. He studied composition with Prof. Marin Goleminov. He is founder of “Polyphony” Chamber Choir in 1968. I. Dimitrov has conducted many concerts in Belgium, Poland, Germany, Italy, Russia, Greece and have been awarded at many international choir competitions in England Italy, Hungary, Ireland and Czech Republic. I. Dimitrov is holder of awards of the Union of Bulgarian Composers (1984) and “Winter Music Evenings” (1985).
