Kiril Tsiboulka (b. 1927, Sofia) graduated from the State Academy of Music in Sofia. He studied composition with Prof. Parashkev Hadjiev and Prof. Pancho Vladigerov. He worked at the Bulgarian Concert Section and at the Ministry of Culture. K. Tsibulka is holder of the award of IVth Cinema Festival (Varna, Bulgaria, 1964) for the film “The Chain”. He is the most prominent Bulgarian composer of film music.
