Vida Encheva Pironkova is a composer – she writes chamber, solo, ballet, theatre and film music, pop and “ethno” songs. Poet and lyricist.

Awards:
Award of the Youth Pop and Rock Song Contest, for the song “Some Day”, based on a text by Margarita Petkova – 1989.
Journalists’ Award at the Golden Orpheus International Song Festival 1993, for the song “Come” – music and lyrics.
Award for International Cultural Activity from Associazione Culturale Internazionale Diletta Vittoria – Roma, Italia for contribution to the promotion of Bulgarian culture in Italy

Three awards of BG Radio – 2018, for the song “Dove” – lyrics, music, arrangement – Vida Pironkova. The statuettes were awarded for “Song of the Year”, “Bulgarian Text” and “Video”, together with a diploma.

In 2018 he made the first cover version of the song “Dove”, which gained unheard of popularity for the size of Bulgaria, with the Greek artist Christos Dendrinos and based on his lyrics.
In 2019, he produced a new cover version of his song “Dove”, performed by Pamela Kaloyanova, as well as a video directed by Ivan Dimitrov.
He also gave the non-exclusive rights over the song to a well-known personality in Bulgarian and London society – Evgeni Minchev, who made a third cover and video of the same song.
In March 2020 he presents his project “Song without End” in the art space “Mozay”.
In 2021 he wrote music for the theatrical production “Irony of Fate” for ODT “Vladimir Trendafilov” – town. Vidin. The music includes six separate songs and one waltz. He works in collaboration with the conductor Dimitar Kossev, whose orchestration of all the songs, as well as with the Vidin Symphony, whose musicians, in addition to the recordings, also participate on stage. The response to the play’s premiere, which is in April 2021, has been widely covered in the media.

Autumn and Winter of 2021 makes the song “The Eagle” in Bulgarian and English, performed by actor and director Georgi Nizamov.

On 16 April 2022 she was accepted as a member of the Union of Bulgarian Composers in a regular session.

He has been a member of the Musicautor Association since 1993.
Her project “Song Without End” – 10 songs based on her poems and music, won financial support at the session of Musicutor – 2019 from the Cultural Fund of the association.
She was supported by the same fund in 2016, when her song “Dove” was included in her project “Empathy”.
Since March 2018, he started an active collaboration with rock legend Roberta and as their first joint project they made the song “REBIRTH” and a video to it. The lyrics are by Katerina Hapsali, the arrangement by Yavor Rusinov, the video is directed by Rosen Mikhailov. With the special participation of Peter Pironkov – artist and brother of Vida, who paints live to the music. They also recorded the song “Sing to Me, Love”.
Her song “On the road new” was produced by bTV for the winner of the fifth edition of “The Voice of Bulgaria” – Nia Petrova.
He won 3 statuettes at the 2017 BG Radio Awards: for the best Bulgarian lyrics of the song “Dove”, for the video of the same song, and “Song of the Year – 2017 – Dove”.
The song “Sing me love” is the latest project of Vida and Roberta, in which Vida herself performs the piano part in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture at the Sofia Festival.
