Angel Zaberski-son graduated from the State Academy of Music in 1996 majoring in Composition under Dimitar Tapkoff. From 1996 to 2000 he worked as arranger at the Big Band of the Bulgarian National Radio. Since 2000 he has been teaching Improvisation at the New Bulgarian University.
A brilliant musician, he gave multiple performances broadcast on the Bulgarian National Television, the Bulgarian National Radio and private radio channels. He worked with young outstanding pop and jazz singers; he played in jazz clubs too. He played in USA, France, Germany, Spain and other European countries. In 2001 he toured with the Ankara Philharmonic. In 1998 he created a jazz trio, with which he participated in many festivals in Bulgaria. In 2000 he created a jazz octet. Under his baton the ensemble gave concerts and took part in authoritative festivals. The 15 pieces composed for the ensemble were included in its first album released on CD. In 2003 he founded a big band of young musicians, with which he performed his compositions at the festival Apolonia and the festival in Bankya.
He won the Crystal Lyre 2002 Prize in the jazz category.
His work is focused on jazz music; he arranges and composes jazz pieces. He wrote a number of compositions and arrangements for big band and symphony orchestra.
